This is officially my 5th favorite Madonna studio album. From in love songs (True Blue, Open Your Heart, Jimmy Jimmy, Love Makes The World Go Round) to sad songs (Live To Tell) this is an awesome album. If you want a good introduction to Madonna and don't want to buy a Greatest Hits album, choose Like a Virgin, Like a Prayer, or this/5().

Where’s the Party is the fifth song on the True Blue album. It is a standard dance track with arrangements of bass drums, synthesizer, clattering rhythms and a remixed approach to the whole.

Editors’ Notes While Like A Virgin established Madonna as an ‘80s MTV icon, True Blue, her third album, ensured she was no flash in the pan. Bad movies would jeopardize her star-power some, but the dancefloor was always Madonna’s refuge and her image was always up for changing. This time it’s thick eyebrows and short, smart blonde locks.

Oct 05,  · Where's The Party "Physical Attraction" is the same version that was released on her first album, Madonna. The rest of the songs were new extended remixes, including the previously unreleased True Blue sessions song, "Spotlight." They also released three 12" vinyl promos with the full unblended mixes of the songs.

The album also cemented her chart domination in the U.K., where "Papa Don't Preach," "True Blue" and "La Isla Bonita" all hit #1. Produced by Madonna, Stephen Bray and Patrick Leonard, True Blue garnered her second Grammy award nomination as "Papa Don't Preach" scored a nod for Female Pop Vocal Performance. The release stands as Madonna's.
